post about the picture!!

I chose this image by Dorthea Lange, because i feel that it says alot about america and how times can be rough but people still pull through. i feel that this woman has had many hard times in her life and it doesn't seem to be getting any better but she still is holding up strong for her kids. The great depression was a very difficult time for the United States and this woman and her family were a few of the millions that were affected by it but to see the pain in her face makes it real to us, and this is why i think that this picture really hits home because it makes the feeling real.
