Picture Essay.

This picture is of Lance Armstrong carrying the American flag after winning the dour de France. He proudly displays his countries flag as he is riding over the streets to celebrate his victory. Lance bike riding career looked as if it might end early when he was diagnosed with a very dangerous cancer that spread throughout his entire body. After some long hard years he made it past the though times. He got back onto his bike and started to ride again. He became the best through hard work, dedication, and determination. He proved to the world that he was the best not just once, but seven times. He wasn’t afraid of the competition or the pressure his country placed on him to be number one. America is Lance Armstrong. With each war we have had to slowly build ourselves back up again, and in a sense we are the best. We are always competing against other countries and there is so much pressure for use to come out on top and be number one.
