I used the famous picture taken on September 11th, 2003, of the three firemen raising up the American flag. The picture was taken after the twin towers fell to the ground; the exhausted firemen raised the flag right on top of ground zero. I think this picture represents the United States in many ways. One was is the Americans are proud to be American. Even after the disaster, the heroes still kept their heads held high and proudly raised the flag. Also the picture shows that the firemen were tired, and sweaty, however that didn’t stop them for doing what they believe in, which shows a lot of Americans don’t quit and achieve their goals.
