This blog is part of Kevin Mahoney's ENG 023 College Composition courses for spring 2006. One of the key issues that is raised by our current culture is the status of on-line and collaborative writing. This blog will serve as a class journal of sorts. Here we will respond to readings, other students, and begin to form positions and arguments. We will also consider the broader "public" that will have access to what we write.

Hilary's Rhetor approach was very much appealing to the emotions and rasoning of the United States as a whole. The audience was pulled because she seem as if she wanted to suit americans needs and pleasures. And as for the Text the people posted in the background are wearing shirts with her anme as a logo and the camera position right infront of her and ger crew.
Hillary speech was more down to earth. she taled to the country as a whole but she still talked in a way that would appeal to mostly everyone. The audience there were all young, but by dressing the way she did she appealed to the old too.
Hillary's speech was directed towards each and every person of the United States. I thought she spoke too much about emotions. She seems like she really cares about what the people want and also spoke of challenges we face together as a country. The audience in the backround were all younger people who wore t-shirts supporting her, waved flags, and also held up signs. Her clothing appealed to an older audience.
I believe that Hilary's speech was geared more towards the people. It seemed she wanted to make a personal connection to them not making herself as a higher authority. She primarily speaks about New Hampshire then moves on as America as a whole. The fact that the audiece is behind her and possibly in front of her as well, this shows how she wants to become one with the audience and not seperate herself from them.
I felt more emotion come out of Hilary's speech, you can tell she practiced it. She didn't mess up her words or have any awkward breaks. She seemed to keep herself part of the group she was talking to, not making it seem, we were the people and she is government.
I like Hillary you can tell she pracitced her speech and she knew what she was tlaking about. She did not mess up at all and seemed very confident! Her audeince looks younger and seems very supportive in the back round. She uses words like us and and we to show she is talking about america as a whole.
I liked how Hillary seemed to know her speech very well. She made a lot of eye contact with the audience. As she was giving her speech it didn't really feel like she was giving an ordinary speech, she was really into it and. She also related to the audience alot.
I like Hillary’s speech the most, it was inspirational. She had her audience backing her up all the way. She pulled them in with her words. She also had a young crowd with out dressing or acting young. She gave eye contact instead of reading off a paper. She also had a lot of energy; she was not boring she kept you interested. I would vote for her!
I feel that Hilary's speech was much better than any other candidates. She was excited and sincere & made the audience feel important. Hilary Clinton is my first choice, hands down.
