The city plans to bulldoze the area to make room to develop. So that means more homeless people. I couldn't help but remember a story my girlfriend told me about how Philly is putting shoots over grates so bums can't sleep on them. I just don't understand you would spend money to make people more desperate and violent. The city could be using that money build shelter and help the homeless. It doesn't make sense.
