Hey, I'm Nikki Bauer. I'm a comuter from Hamburg Pa (20 min. from Kutztown.), Born and raised. I love country music, traveling, Dancing, meeting people, I'm a huge animal lover and most of all I love to talk.
After reading Culture is Ordinary, I have a clear view of Raymond William's idea of culture. He used many vivid words, he painted a picture with his words. He is wrinting about in opinion but the paper comes across in a very polite manner. However I'm not sure if he feels positive or negative about culture.

I agree with Nikki. Williams did use many vivid words to describe what he was talking about. Also, like Nikki, I was unsure about Williams being positive or negative about culture.
I don't think Williams was trying to judge culture in a positive/negative sense. I like what you said about how he painted a picture with his words. The picture he paints is enough for me, without being good or bad, because it is very clear that he views culture as simply ordinary.
i think he left it open to the reader whether his view was positive or negative. He did paint a picture with his words but it was very plain to me.
